【摘要】:Fabricsintendedforthisend-useshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1.Itshouldberecognizedthatfabricscanbeproducedwithanalmostinfinitenumberofcombinationsofconstructionvariables(forexample,typeoffibers,percentageoffibers,yarntwist,yarnnumber,warpandpickcount,chemicalandmechanicalfinished.)Additionally,fashionoraestheticsdictatethattheultimateconsumermayfindacceptablearticlesmadefromfabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Hence,nosingleperformancespecificationcanpossiblyapplytoallthevariousfabricsthatcouldbeutilizedforthisend-use.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.Thesignificanceanduseofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverswovenawningandcanopyfabricscomposedofanytextilefiberormixtureoffibers.1.2Theserequirementsapplytothelengthandwidthdirectionsforthosepropertieswherefabricdirectionispertinent.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
