【摘要】:TheSoftwareManagementFunctionincludesmanagementofasystemfordeliveryofsoftwareandalsomanagementofsoftwarewithinasystem.Therearetwoaspectsofsoftwarethatneedtobeconsideredseparately.Thesetwoaspectscanbedescribedasthe"dormant"viewandthe"active"viewofsoftware.Thedormantviewofsoftwareisrelatedtothedatathatisstoredinamanagedsystemandthewayinwhichitisdeliveredandinstalled.Ingeneral,thedataisstoredinformation,suchasdatafilesandtables,butmayalsobefilescontainingexecutablecode.ThescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardincludesthedormantviewofsoftware.Theactiveviewofsoftwareisrelatedtothemanagementofresourcesthatutilizethesoftware.Thereisnorealdifferencebetweenthisviewandthenormalviewofmanagementofresources.ThescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddoesnotincludetheactiveviewofsoftware.However,therelationshipbetweenmanagedobjectsrepresentingresourcesthatutilizesoftware,andthemanagedobjectsrepresentingthesoftwarethattheyareusing(i.e.dormantviewofsoftware)iswithinthescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard.ThescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardincludes:—initiationoftransferofsoftware;—posttransfercontrolofsoftware;—softwareactivation(includesversionupdateandpatching);—softwarede-activation;—softwarereversionchange;—softwarevalidation;—softwareenquiry;—softwarebackup;—softwarerestore.NOTE1-Backupandrestorearedefinedinagenericwaysothattheycanapplytoresourcesotherthansoftware.ThescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddoesnotinclude:—transfermechanismofsoftware;—physicalstorageofsoftware(mappingofsoftwaretophysicalfilestore,suchastoafloppydisk,harddisk,etc.);—formattingofsoftware;—namingofsoftwareproducts;—sequencingofsoftwaremanagementcommands;—softwaremonitoring;—managementofprocessesrunninginasystem.NOTE2-Thesupportforlicensechargingactivities(i.e.billing,accounting)andsoftwaretracing(i.e.tracingexecutionofsoftwarefordebugging)isoutsidethescopeofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardandisopenforfurtherstudy.
